マレー作戦

太平洋戦争のはじまりは、1941年12月8日午前1時30分（日本時間）　コタ・バル(マレー半島)上陸から

真珠湾攻撃より1時間20分前である。　

　　　「ヒノデハヤマガタ」の暗号。

九七式戦闘機が、イギリス海軍のPBYカタリナを撃墜　これが連合軍のはじめての撃墜である。

コタバル上陸が　連合軍への宣戦布告。


マレー沖海戦

1941年(昭和16年)12月10日午前6時出撃　3番索敵機（機長・帆足正音予備少尉）が午前11時30分に艦隊を発見。

午前11時45分、東洋艦隊主力を発見した。

英国艦隊を発見し攻撃隊を誘導、戦果確認を行った。




マレー半島を60日で1,000キロを進撃し、1月31日に南端のシンガポールに着く。

「ニイタカヤマノボレ」の暗号は　有名ですが「ヒノデハヤマガタ」は　ほとんどの人は　知らないと思う。

結局、
海軍の真珠湾奇襲攻撃があまりにも日本人の考えに入っているためである。

デバステイター隊が　ドーントレス機より５分ぐらい早く到着し　攻撃を開始
零戦が低空でデバステイターを相手に戦っていた間に
空母加賀の上空が　無防備になった　その後
艦爆隊SBDドーントレス機の　急降下の餌食となる。



　　「加賀 」「蒼龍」「赤城 」後に「飛龍」撃沈した。





デバステイター雷撃機は、どんくさいが
その存在は無意味ではなかった。

こいつのおかげで　ミッドウェー海戦に負け
貴重な日本海軍の空母が無くなる。

零戦の餌食になったが
日本海軍の崩壊に導いた。

まさしく破壊者（デバステイター）である。

空母「赤城」

ほとんどの日本人は、知らないが

空母「赤城」には、ドイツになぞの空母「グラーフ・ツェッペリン」の弟分がいた。
しかし、こいつは　未完成のまま　製造中止になる。

ドイツ海軍には、空母建造のノウハウがなかったので　
山本五十六が　空母の技術と戦艦技術を交換しようと考えていた。
ドイツの戦艦技術で、戦艦大和が建造され。
まだまだ技術的に　ドイツに劣つていたのである。

しかし、ミッドウェー海戦で空母「赤城」が撃沈されたので　
山本五十六が　空母「グラーフ・ツェッペリン」の購入を
打診したが、極東への回航は不可能とされ
ドイツ海軍に拒否された。

空母「信濃」は、 大和型戦艦の３番艦として
横須賀海軍工廠で起工し


　　　　史上最大の排水量を持つ空母だった。



1944年11月、未完成のまま呉海軍工廠へと回航中に
米潜水艦アーチャーフィッシュ
の魚雷攻撃により、一度も実戦に投入されることなく
潮ノ岬沖に沈没した。


　　沈没した時、たまたま搭載していた特攻機桜花が
　　海面に浮かび、皮肉にも多くの乗組員がそれに掴まり
　　助かっている。








空母「信濃」に搭載予定機は、
艦上戦闘機「烈風」、艦上攻撃機「流星」、高速偵察機「彩雲」

烈風の開発が遅れたので、
紫電改２の艦上型に変更されたもの

しかし、そのころ　戦闘機もパイロットも不足し
完成しても使えない

　　悲運の空母でる。
